Viktor Shvaiko was born in Altai, one of Russia's most remote regions. In
1992, after studying art in the Soviet Union, Shvaiko traveled to Yugoslavia and from
there to Italy. He eventually moved to the United States where his career began to
flourish. It was here that Shvaiko developed a love for painting little cafes and
other intimate settings.
Viktor Shvaiko's limited edition serigraphs
are beautifully hand-enhanced and display all the immediacy and nuance of oil paintings.
